Dear members and friends of PKD Switzerland,

The is neither room, nor necessity for having 2 similar associations in Switzerland to defend and support the people and families touched by polycystic kidney disease, and therefore, the 2 boards have decided to merge, forming a stronger SwissPKD association.

PKD Switzerland will therefore cease existing as such, and Frank SERVAIS, president, will be full member of the SwissPKD association, responsible in an initial stage of the representation and activities in the Swiss Romandie, as well as member of the board of PKD International (www.pkdinternational.org).

In agreement with the articles of association, the assets of PKD Switzerland will be donated to SwissPKD, the use of the funds will be used with the agreement of Frank SERVAIS.

Chers membres et amis de PKD Suisse,

Il n’y a ni la place, ni le besoin d’avoir 2 associations en Suisse pour défendre les personnes et familles touchées par la polykystose rénale, et c’est pourquoi, en toute logique, que les 2 comités ont décidé de fusionner les 2 associations, constituant ainsi une seul association SwissPKD renforcée.

L’association PKD Suisse cesse donc d’exister en tant que telle, et Frank SERVAIS, le président, devient membre du comité de SwissPKD, responsable initialement du moins, de la représentation et des activités en Suisse Romande, ainsi que restant membre du comité de PKD International (www.pkdinternational.org).

En accord avec les statuts, les actifs de PKD Suisse seront donnés à SwissPKD, mais l’utilisation des fonds, sera faite en accord avec Frank SERVAIS.
